Oh my, oh my
Paintings built from ordinary incidents, overheard stories and moments that tend to pass unnoticed. The venue text describes how Óskar partly paints over a passage when it has become too explicit, leaving room for the viewer’s own experience.

Exhibition context
Kunstnerforbundet describes an open movement between anecdote, colour and form. Text fragments, marks and figures enter the same picture, then may be revised when one element begins to explain too much.
The exhibition holds light and dark together. Humour can soften a difficult image, while a small disturbance can make a familiar situation strange again.
